Promos4Awareness is a independent Photography project brought to you by Francis Allard @ www.mshyphotography.com as an effort to raise serious world issues awareness with the involvement of the music industry. The project will focus on Band Promotional Photography being used as a tool to raise awareness about the various types of world issues and how they affect everyone of us.

*How It Works:
I am willing to shoot any promo shots the band may want, and in return I ask to take a few frames exclusively dedicated to to the cause Promos4Awareness! These shots will be tagged with Promos4Awareness, and the band can use them at will for anything they may want. The shots will be posted on the website and exclusive offers will follow (Posters Of These Shots For Sale with money being donated to research centers in the future!) as well as links off of Promos4Awareness directly to the band’s MySpace.com page (Or website) as a token of my appreciation for taking the few minutes.

*What Do Bands Get?
FREE Promotional Photography and as many shots as they want! Again, I will shoot anything the band wants, as long as I can take a few exclusive shots for Promos4Awareness! This means bands will have the freedom of coming up with their own ideas and themes, or I can come up with one for them! Each band will have different shots, and they will all be related to a cause in which we can raise awareness in some shape or form. It may be as simple as a band member holding up a cancerous x-ray scan, or something more meaningful!
*Why Am I Doing This?

Cancer affects everyone, and for myself it was in the form of my uncle. He was diagnosed with cancer of the throat. After seeing him struggle his way through the radiology and chemotherapy and never losing hope, it gave me a second outlook on life. He never looked back and always thought positively for himself. Throughout the years he has overcome the cancer in his throat, and is now doing better then ever!

Over the years I have met a few people who had been diagnosed with cancer, and I thought to myself I wanted to do something to show my appreciation. I have combined my love for my photography as a Music Photographer, and have put it to good use. I started this project for everyone out there who is struggling with cancer, or is closely related or knows someone who has been diagnosed with cancer. It can be hard to live with a burden of such weight on your shoulders.
I have decided to take it a step further, and open the eyes of people about just about anything you can think of. AIDS, CANCER, STD’s, Animal Cruelty, whatever that band decides on, I will shoot based off of the theme and send positive messages out.

If you are a Band, Artist, Promoter, Club Owner, Company CEO , Record Label Executive, Or in the music industry in any way and are willing to get free promo shots, PLEASE contact me as soon as possible and we can schedule something together. I am always looking for bands to take shots of and am willing to take Promos for just about anyone.

*What Is Your Goal?
My goal is to travel to concerts, festivals, and just meet with people in the music industry in efforts to educate the population about serious world issues awareness with the tools of Photography and Band Promotional Photography. Ideally I plan to travel to concerts, festivals, and various events and talking to artists and getting them on board, and taking a few exclusive pictures for Promos4Awareness as mentioned previously.
