A dear friend of mine ROB approached me this evening with heart breaking news. Rob got married this past summer and his wife delivered a beautiful set of twins December 30th @ 10:17 (Lucas) 10:18 (Samuel). Samuel and Lucas were born without complications in the delivery but unfortunately things took a turn for the worst. Samuel has been diagnosed with Multicystic Dysplastic Kidney. Doctors told them he had mere hours to live and he has been hanging in since the delivery.

Singer/songwriter Vic Chestnutt (November 12, 1964 – December 25, 2009) has passed away in a Athens, Georgia hospital, as reported by the New York Times. Earlier this week, Vic was reported to had fallen into a coma after overdosing on muscle relaxants at the young age of 45. Vic, a paraplegic artist’s first big breakthrough to commercial success came with the release of the tribute album Sweet Relief II: Gravity of the Situation
