It’s another week and it’s time to feature a not-for-profit for you guys to howl over and get your knowledge brushed up on!

Paramore book “GRACE” released through Independent Music Press

Paramore Fans Rejoice! There is now a Paramore Book. Although it’s an unofficial and unauthorisedbook printed by Independent Music Press in the UK, but still.
Available in stores now, it’s the first and only biography on the Tennessee five-piece, who are arguably one of music’s biggest new rock acts. This unofficial and unauthorised book is the first to tell their story and details the early years, their explosive debut record, the strident, platinum-selling follow-up ‘Riot!’ and their new-found status as the next major rock act in the world.

Not For Sale: Not-For-Profit Of The Week

This week’s not-for-profit of the week touches on a very sensitive, yet dark and hidden subject. It is a subject that lacks media attention and does not have any awareness campaigns or humanitarian aid behind the cause. Infact, it is almost unnoticeable in today’s society to hear anything about such issues. This is about to change.
Human Traffickin. There are more than 27 million slaves in the world today.  Human trafficking is the practice of people being tricked, lured, coerced or otherwise removed from their home or country, and then compelled to …

Amnesia Amnesia – Aids Awareness

Jordan and Jason from Amnesia Amnesia and I got together before a show in Oshawa at the Atria and took some real quick shoots for aids awareness. The theme here is AIDS and how they trap and silence people, which is represented by the red tape over their mouths (Silencing) and holding them left with no defense (Around their bodies, pinning their arms). This shoot was meant to be powerful and raw, and I think that the guys loved doing it as much as I love the outcome of the …

We Are Alaska – Animal Cruelty

We Are Alaska and Promos4Awarenss.com collaborated their efforts into making a Animal Cruelty theme shoot to help raise awareness about animal cruelty a in early November. The band approached me with a theme in mind to help raise awareness against animal cruelty. So what I did was take it a step further and I built this huge cage out of recycled products and set them in the cage, to represent the torture to animals. All four of them in one cage. The looks on their eyes show desperation and sadness. …
