The Zombies Wear Prada

If you are stoked on the new THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA release of their Zombies EP, well you are not alone. I have been super stoked on a zombie album, and the excitement has just grown!They have announced pre-orders (sadly Canadian Credit Cards are currently not working, trust me I have tried) and will actually include a Zombie Comic Book! For those who can’t wait for this, here’s a sneak preview of the cover art for the comic book!

Sweet Relief: helping to raise money for Matthew Leone of Madina Lake

Sweet Relief Musicians Fund is working with Madina Lake‘s management and Pledge Music to help raise funds for Madina Lake bassist Matthew Leone.   Matthew was rushed to the hospital last week after incurring several broken bones and head trauma when he heroically intervened in a domestic dispute between a husband and wife near his home.  He is currently on the road to recovery but will need our help in order to pay the substantial bills.

Funeral For A Darran

Welsh rock band from Bridgend, Funeral for a Friend have made an announcement today of the departure of a member.  To this day Funeral For A Friend have released four studio albums, five EPs, fifteen singles, one DVD, and one compilation album.

Amnesia Amnesia looking for a new vocalist

Monday evening, Amnesia Amnesia posted a blog announcing the departure of vocalist Tyler and asking if anyone is interested in being their new lead vocalist. They will shortly be recording an instrumental of one of their new songs which will be on the album very soon at Newcomb Studios and will let everyone know when that will be posted for anyone interested in vocal tryouts. Reading through a book given to me by a co-worker this morning I came upon this site, and I decided to register and play it. The idea of AKOHA.com is just random acts of kindness which when you complete them, give you points. It helps people spead good deeds across the world. It might be sad that we need a website to help us do some acts of kindness, but I think it is a fun initiative and will help promote some fun enthusiasm into the daily routine.

New Chiodos Singer Leaked?

Although Chiodos had previously mentioned that they were going to wait until to reveal their new vocalist at the Bamboozle California in March, there seems to have been some leaked news on the internet hinting that the new Chiodos frontman (replacing Craig Owens) hints to be Yesterdays Rising (Post-hardcore, California) singer Brandon Bolmer.
This might come as a surprise to some, yet make sense to others. For anyone who was fortunate enough to have caught the tail-end of this past summer’s Warped Tour, they could have seen Bolmer stepping into another frontman’s shoes, filling in for …
