I recently sat down with Tytan Media to get a interview, and here it is!

Promos4Awareness:
Tell us a little about yourself and Tytan Media.

Tytan Media:
Well i come from a Marketing background with over 12 years experience in Brand Building, Marketing Management. The last 8 years have been spent online with Internet Marketing. I have extensive knowledge in Email marketing, Search Engine Marketing and Traffic optimization. I would say that my area expertise is in Guerilla Marketing. Finding ways to get the most traffic and exposure for free is always the first solution for me.We live in an amazing time now and the power of the internet can open soo many doors for Companies and Bands. Never in history have we had the ability to reach the other side of the world in minutes with powerful media. I feel that every artist out there really need to have a solid execution plan when it comes to Online Marketing to fully utilize all of it’s potential. Tyan Media helps artists put together plans for getting Traffic, Exposure ,and building the brand for future expansion. I teach artists to look at the Internet in a new way and with a different mentality. Tytan Media was formed to help artists with Marketing and Media strategies. I came across too many very talented artists that really had no help with Marketing and no sense of business to take the required next steps. Also the industry is filled with “false prophets” professing to be “experts” and giving people the wrong advice. I was very disappointed with what i saw from the Music Promoters and so called Managers that i wanted make sure that got real knowledge about Marketing and Promotion. I basically teach bands how to drive their own car for future success.

Promos4Awareness:
That sure sounds like something bands can sure use these days in the extremely competitive music industry. With Tytan Media who is the Targeted Audience?

Tytan Media:
The market that i work with can range from bands that are ready to take the next step (they have played shows, have a website, have a decent network online ) all the way to the band that is just starting out. I can help build online networks , increase Traffic,  and implement strategies to generate revenue. That i think is the most important area because it’s important for these bands to understand the business side of the music game. After a few months of working together i can change the way they look at all promotions. If your giving your life to trying to make your dreams a reality then you should know all the ways how to make a living from it.

Promos4Awareness:
What made you come up with the idea for Tytan Media?

Tytan Media:
Again it came from the desire to use my Marketing skills in an area i am passionate about. I love music and i have been a songwriter for many years so i have a tonne of friends that are artists. I want to use what i have learned to help people kick some ass ! I’m a very fired up person and sometimes these bands need someone with some real drive to make things happen. After what i saw from the local scene here in Toronto i knew that i could help alot. We have an amazing music scene with incredible artists and they deserve real people helping them out. Not snakes talking a fast game and leading them in the wrong directions. The difference is that i am an Artist as well and i can sympathize with many artists.

Promos4Awareness:
Is there anyone who you would want to work with on future projects?

Tytan Media:
I would love to work with some passionate people that want to use new tactics to create a powerful message. Some of the artists that i really like are K-os , Sam Roberts because they do their own thing and stay true to who they are. You gotta sell people on the uniqueness of YOU! There are some great new Rock bands that have blown my mind lately and a few of them are Protest the Hero , Mars Volta and Band of Horses

Promos4Awareness:
Who does not love protest the hero. I would also love to work with them! Such a great talented band. What direction are you hoping to take Tytan Media in next?

Tytan Media:
Well i would like to see Tytan Media expand beyond the Online Marketing realm and into Management one day. The natural evolution of what we are doing will be to have a Management firm so we can work even closer with artists that we are very close with. I would only ever want to manage someone that i am crazy about musically and strongly believe in who they are as artists. So Managing is definitely they is on the horizon and then possibly the formation of an indie label. Again that would be to make sure that those select artists that we have a relationship with are properly directed and distributed for success. All of these steps tie into each other and if i feel strongly about the artists then naturally i would want to create a family environment where we are all on the same page. One team moving forward to achieve all the goals we set. I think thats fair to what i believe in and fair to the artists we get behind.

What are your expectations going into this Partnership?

Tytan Media:
I feel this Partnership with P4A is a strong one because in this music business today other then the music itself Marketing and Photography are very key elements to success. I know the level of skill that P4A brings to the table and i am huge fan of some of the shoots i have seen soo. So combine great Photography with the Marketing skills and passion that Tytan Media offers i think it’s a wonderful opportunity for bands to look into. Tytan Media is trying to make a difference in the music scene with good honest business and P4A is doing something amazing for bands and the World by raising global awareness.
I look forward to all that we can do together. I think we can some great things and the new year will be an amazing one.
